using thesaurus

An editting tool that helps users to find words or phrases with similar meaning  (synonyms) or opposite meaning (antonyms) to the selected.

To use thesaurus: 

  • Click review ribbon.

  • From proofing panel, click on Thesaurus icon. 

Notice a pane added to the right of the screen. 

  • Point on  an alternative word/ phrase you intend to replace with the selected one. Notice an arrow appears on its far right. 
  • Click on the arrow then click on insert from the drop-down list. Notice the word/ phrase in the document is replaced.

Antonyms are enclosed in brackets.
